Dali works beautifully as a coffee-lifestyle base: old-town lanes, villages and the Erhai shore hold a mature café culture alongside the practicalities of everyday life. Yunnan's principal coffee-growing regions are farther south and west, including Baoshan, Pu'er, Lincang and Dehong. We keep that distinction honest.

You want to live alone for a while, work remotely, write, rest or learn coffee without racing between sights. You are comfortable shaping most days yourself and value help at the moments that matter.
It may not fit
You expect a guide, car and full board every day, a fixed luxury hotel, or a guaranteed certificate. Those can become a different private plan, but they are not part of the base coffee residency.
